From the 18th until the 25th of January in 2020, a group of nineteen Pattern members from the master’s program Data Science and Entrepreneurship went on the first-ever Pattern Ski Trip, with the destination of the trip being Les Deux Alpes, France. The first edition of the Trip was titled “Pattern’s Gradient Descent”, a subtle nod to our data science background combined with our love of going down slopes at a high pace. Despite this “descent” sidelining two of our members with shoulder injuries, we had a great week both on and off the slopes as we quenched our thirst with a well-deserved drink at the various après-ski bars.
